Looks like our mass media think that Bush supports heroin production in Afganistan - at least, it has grown noticeably after the Americans came. Iraq is also mentioned, sort of, in this connection - "Bush could easily burn the plantations, but he knows that if he does so, he will surely not get elected because the drug dealers' money will be against him. Heroin brings much more profit than oil." European countries have all noticed what is happening, but they have been "too shy to at least ask the US what they think they are doing." My country is not much of a model to imitate either. Emotions: looks like everyone is sitting in a nice steaming pile of quality @!!! just by virtue of living in a society with a government, army, and a spot on the map. What is the Empire to be resisted? "Stop the Earth, I'm getting off!"

Do you believe everything that the media says? I mean, come on. The US media said plenty about the USSR (I had to figure out what media you were talking about from previous posts, btw), but does that mean it was true? I seriously doubt that the Bush administration is so concerned with the opium production of Afganistan that it has decided not to burn down the crops. That's too much.
p.s. I do not support the Bush, but I would burn it justly.
